A: No. As an Airbnb host, you are responsible for answering your guests. Aviva IQ is there to help automate your customized post-booking messages (confirmation, check-in, booking extension, check-out, review request), which may eliminate over 80% of messages from your workload.
A: Absolutely not! Robot responses are very impersonal and off putting. On the contrary, Aviva IQ allows you to customize messages that are personalized and worded exactly how you would like them to be sent to your guests.
A: No, that’s the beauty of Aviva IQ. Once you create your messages (confirmation, check-in, booking extension, check-out, review request) and set the scheduler, Aviva IQ takes it from there. Note: If you have multiple properties, you will need separate messages for each.
A: No problem. Using Aviva IQ’s dynamic messaging platform, you can insert Tags within your messages that automatically personalize your messages with information about your guests and their reservations.
A: Tags are also known as personalization tags. These tags allow you to insert unique data about your guest reservations directly into your messages. For example, if you’d like to insert your guest’s name into your messages, you should use the Tag <<GUEST_NAME>>. Every time Aviva IQ sees the tag<<GUEST_NAME>> in your message, we will replace this tag with the correct guest name for each of your future reservations at this property.
A: To add a Tag to your message, simply place your cursor where you want to insert the Tag, and click on the desired tag.
A: You can view your messages for a given property by clicking on the “Edit Message” link next to it. Click on the one you’d like to review, modify if necessary, and click save once you are happy with the wording.
A: After creating a message, make sure the “Active” checkbox is enabled. It is not sufficient to click the “Save” button. The “Save” button saves the wording of your message while the “Active” checkbox activates your message. So be sure the “Active” checkbox is enabled and then click the “Save” button.
A: Just click on the “Edit Message” link located next to a property, click on the message you want to update, modify your message, and click “Save”.
